Elections were held at the November meeting
All Newly elected Officers assume their new roles
at the
January 31st,

at 7:00 pm
at MAZZIO'S Pizza
in the FARM SHOPPING CENTER
at 51st and Sheridan Road

FunDraiser
We are very excited about having
held our "Toys
for Tots"
FUNdraiser which was held Saturday, October 13th,
at the VFW Post #577,Located at 1109 East 6th street, just west of Peoria.
The Post had
just installed their NEW Sound System the very week before, and we got to be
the first to test her out big time, and boy DID IT EVER ROCK THE HOUSE!!. Star 103s Wavy Davy
was broadcasting
LIVE, and handing out "Wild Hogs" bandanas. David Dover and his
band played a set, and a newly formed band out of the Muskogee area
called the PC and the Protectors was SMOKING HOT!!,
Everyone was playing the Blues to Rock,
and some of my favorites, OLDIES, with the Fur Trappers playing
to close out the night. The food was hot, and the pop and beer
was cold and plentiful. Many Great door prizes were on hand to be won,
and it seems that Paul Albertson of B.A. Leather was the luckiest man of the
night, winning the most prizes, The Grand Prize, a NEW Women's Full
Face Helmet was won as the last door prize of the evening.
Several Marine Corp. Reservists showed up driving 2 of their Anti-Tank
Armored Hum-Vees which was a real treat to get talk to them about their
special vehicles, and to Thank them for their service to the
country!!
And NO they would Not let me fire a test round !!!
Toy Run Status
We are very excited now as the Incorporation papers for Tulsa Abate Charitable
Services Incorporated, have been received back from the state, and so we are
NOW a pending 501-C-3 Charitable Organization. We have talked to
several other groups and Clubs and have been assured of their full support
and cooperation with our 28th Annual Toys for Tots Toy Run.
Which is going to be held on Sunday, December 16th, 2007. Line up
starts at 10:30 am, and we leave at 1:00 pm SHARP !! We are riding to
the Tulsa Expo Square, (Tulsa Fair Grounds), to the Trade Center Building.
Chapter Goals
ABATE of Tulsa's goals are to improve the public image of motorcyclists,
support the rights of all motorcyclists, and provide public education and
awareness concerning motorcycles and motorcyclists.
